Color your life – and your quilts – with the vibrant colors of a flower garden. A primitive garden! The colors are Poppy and Marigold, Aster and Peony, and the prints are small-scaled. Use them for the small piecing I love or for bold bursts of color, and for adding a bit of color to a scrap quilts. To give my garden the foundation it needs to bloom, we’ve used my favorite muslin shades of Tallow, Paper Bag and Pie Crust and created Flower Garden Backgrounds. These shirting-like prints are the sort that I’ll use for years to come, they’re like “heirloom seeds”… or the seeds for my heirlooms and yours.
