Statement: The story of the Purple Mountains Majesty quilt.

In looking for fabric to complete the Molehill quilt Sue showed me this beautiful line of purple fabric from the U.K. I thought it would give the Molehill quilt a great ombre look. So I decided to make a "Purple" quilt.

The saying is don't make a mountain out of a molehill. However, due to the challenges in cutting and sewing this quilt I decided these molehills were "Mountains"

I finished the quilt top on the day of His "Majesty" King Charles III's coronation.
