What Is Local Quilt Shop Day?
Local Quilt Shop Day is a nationwide event that highlights and celebrates independently owned quilt shops across the country. It’s a day dedicated to uplifting the quilting community, supporting small businesses, and showcasing the importance of your neighborhood fabric store.

Shopping local helps ensure that independent quilt shops — like ours — continue to thrive, inspire, teach, and serve generations of sewists and makers.

Celebrating 16 Years of The Sewing Gallery
This January also marks 16 years since The Sewing Gallery opened its doors in Princeton, WV. Over the years, we’ve grown from a small local shop into a welcoming creative hub where quilters, embroiderers, and sewists find inspiration, high-quality products, and a friendly community.

We’re grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors, shared a project, asked for help, taken a class, or supported us along the way. This celebration is truly for you.

What’s Happening In-Store on January 24th (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST)
We’re combining both occasions into one exciting event! Here’s what you can expect when you join us:
